Perth-based insuretech startup has partnered with Bunnings to offer Australia’s tradies discounted access to its managed insurance product.
Called Evari, the cloud-based platform was formed two years ago to offer fully digital, tailored insurance focused on small and medium enterprises. It aims to reduce the total amount paid for insurance by catering to fluctuating needs.Rather than taking the “set and forget” approach,
Evari ensures there there is adequate cover at peak times, while saving money by not overpaying when needs are smaller.
The recent partnership gives Bunnings’ 700,000-plus PowerPass customers (available to professional tradies) a 5 per cent discount on Evari’s small business insurance. The offering for tradies includes cover of legal liability, tools of trade, and tax audits.
“Tradespeople are time-poor, constantly on the move, and rely on the convenience that comes from mobile and digital environments,” co-founder and chief executive Daniel Fogarty said.
